Day trip to Chianti: Cooking in the Tuscan Countryside
While in Florence, my friends and I took a day trip out to the Chianti region to take a cooking class. We spent the day cooking at an adorable villa that had a fantastic patio for enjoying the beautiful greenery of Chianti in between our cooking and eating.
We made pasta from scratch, and made a variety of dishes including panzanella (salad made with soaked stale bread) and a white bean pasta dish. Recipes can be found here.
